As members of the Ann Arbor Model Railroad Club look on, Conrail train DREL-7 (Detroit-Elkhart) passes the former Michigan Central Railroad depot in Dexter, Michigan on the evening of 07 June 1989. Edward Hodges was on hand to capture this scene.

Power for the train are consecutively-numbered Conrail SD-50s #6713 and #6714, built in 1983. Both units were transferred to the Norfolk Southern when Conrail was absorbed, and were photographed in service in the 2020s.

The Ann Arbor Model Railroad Club continues to operate in the Dexter depot to this day.
